Full sail ahead:

2^nd November 09

Saturday morning saw me in the Boston Tea Party café in Honiton, promoting my book, Never Die Wondering.  Apart from the pleasure of selling my book it is the people that you meet.  A couple who had been in the air force were interested in my experiences and we exchanged banter about service life.  A man who wants to go around the world on a motor cycle but is juggling family and work and those who had hit forty and decided that they needed my book to make sure that they do not die wondering!

Today I am off to Portsmouth because tomorrow morning at 0800 hours, my friend Jennifer and I, join the tall ships adventure for three days sailing up the channel.  I have little idea what is in store for us, other than we are expected to be part of the crew.  I have a few more hours left to learn the names of all the sails before going on board. In preparation my husband and I took to the beach yesterday and did some body boarding in the crashing seas following the storm of the night before and I got one great run in!  I am pleased to report this morning all is calm and the sun is shining.  I hardly dare look at the weather forecast for the next few days.

The next phase

Never Die Wondering is being sold in America and France and I am seriously considering having it translated into French. I am in a quandry as to whether or not to join this slim book with my next slim book called, Get Cracking thereby making a more substantial book.
I envisage it being part one and part two. Meanwhile thoughts for the next book about relationships are rattling around in my brain.

Over 500 copies sold

Never Die Wondering is selling extremely well in Dorset and Devon.  A few copies have gone to France, so where do we go next?  To the next book, called Get Cracking.

The trials and tribulations of writing a follow on book are proving quite difficult.  the first draft is completed, the drawings are in place, my enthusiasm is still high, but the end product is still not in sight!
